New Zealand On Air is turning its attention to TV on the internet, with a new $500,000 fund to tell Maori stories or reach Maori audiences.
It'll share the cost of five webseries with Maori broadcast funding agency Te Mangai Paho.
At least two of the webseries will be fully in Te Reo.
New Zealand On Air's Brenda Leeuwenberg says it's an innovative way to reach audiences.
"It tends to be things that are in smaller bites you have to engage your audience in different ways and get them to keep watching."
