New Zealand guitarist Peter Posa is being remembered as one of the music industry's greatest.
He died at Waikato Hospital yesterday, aged 77.
NewstalkZB host Bruce Russell says Posa was a prolific recording artist, whose influence was immeasurable.
"Posa was a tremendous part of the industry and would occasionally call in to my talkback show to discuss the hey-day of the music industry."
Posa shot to fame in the 1960s and 70s, when he released 28 singles, 15 EPs, 23 albums and was known for his associations with Dean Martin, Chet Atkins, and Herb Ellis.
