Woman choppered from multi-car smash near Napier

A 59-year-old Eskdale woman's been airlifted from the scene of a multi-car crash on State Highway 5 near Napier this afternoon.

The rescue helicopter took her from the incident near Eskdale to hospital in Hastings with multiple serious injuries.
