Two people are seriously injured after a collision in the Selwyn District.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell says they've transported two people to Christchurch Hospital by helicopter shortly after 5.
He says both have serious injuries.
The two had been trapped in their vehicles after a collision near Darfield, on the corners of Telegraph and Creyke Roads
