One person is dead after a three car crash in Mount Cook this afternoon.

The crash happened just after 3pm on Tekapo-Twizel Rd.

 

Two people were seriously injured and one had moderate injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.

State Highway 8 remains closed at Pukaki Dam.
