The public is invited to have their say on the removal of National Standards and Charter Schools.
Submissions are open on the Government's Education Amendment Bill until mid-April.
Anyone can submit online on the Parliament website or request to be heard by the Education Select Committee.
The Opposition education spokesperson Nikki Kaye told Parliament she expects an onslaught of public feedback.
"The number of parents that are writing to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education is phenomenal."
