Police are appealing for witnesses to a Christchurch crash involving a car and cyclist, back in April.

The male cyclist- who sustained moderate injuries- was hit on Tuesday the 9th around 6:40 in the evening while heading west on Blenheim Road, at the intersection with Clarence Street.

Police would like to know the identity of the driver.

She is described as Maori of slim build and around 150 to 160cm in height

She was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and pants.

Police say she stayed with the cyclist until an ambulance arrived but left before they attended.
