A Christchurch businessman facing multiple tax and dishonesty offences has appeared in court on 26 new charges.
The 44-year-old first appeared at Christchurch District Court earlier this month.
He's accused of tax offences totalling $250,000 in unpaid PAYE and GST.
He's also been charged with 10 dishonesty related charges, including using a man's bank card to obtain cash and using the man's cellphone to obtain $35,000.
On Friday, he was arrested on new charges, including theft of $108,000 by failing to account, and other fraud charges amounting to almost $70,000.
He was granted bail and interim name suppression until his next court appearance on Thursday.
