Police have named the Christchurch man killed in a police chase gone wrong.
64-year-old Kenneth McCaul died after his car was hit by another vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The car that struck him is believed to have had five teens inside - and was being actively chased by police.
Police say the driver who fled was a 17 year old - who will be released from hospital shortly.
The other four teens remain in hospital.
Police say they haven't made any arrests so far.
Police have also named the 68-year-old who died in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.
Warren Victor Galbraith died from injuries sustained in a crash in Rakaia on October 18.Â
