One person has minor burns after a kitchen fire in a Christchurch home.
Fire and Emergency were called to the house on Fitzgerald Avenue just after three o'clock.
Two fire engines are at the scene, with another on the way.
Fire and Emergency are asking people to stay away as they are restricting traffic to the area.
