It’s the end of an era with demolition almost complete at Christchurch's Lancaster Park Stadium.
For 130 years the stadium hosted hundreds of top-level sporting internationals - but was deemed unsafe after the Canterbury earthquakes.

She says its a pretty sad day seeing it look like a war zone - but it's nearly down, coming in under budget and they are only about a day behind schedule.
The Paul Kelly and Deans stand will be totally deconstructed by December and all materials removed by January.
