Students in the Canterbury town of Darfield are turning up for their exams near an active crime scene.
Part of Bangor Road remains cordoned off, after a man died and a police officer was injured at a property yesterday.
Bus driver Mandy Kells says three buses had to be diverted around the cordons to Darfield High School
But she says the students appear to be taking it in their stride.
"It is all over the news so they are aware of it, but I don't think they are to fazed."
