The man who died in a tragic central Otago jet boat accident has been named.
46-year-old Christchurch man Cameron Moore died in a crash on the Clutha river yesterday.
New Zealand Jet Boat River Racing Association spokesperson Paul Mullan says Cameron will be sorely missed.
"Cameron has been involved with racing jetboats since he was a baby, it is a very sad and tragic death."
Navigator 34-year-old Adam Wilton suffered concussion and broken fingers, and is recovering in Dunedin Hospital.
