Charges have been laid in relation to a crash on Summit Road in Christchurch's Port Hills that took the lives of two sisters.
17-year-old Tayla Alexander died in the crash in November last year, with her 16-year-old sister Sunmara succumbing in hospital weeks later.

A 19-year-old man has now been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
He's also been charged with dangerous driving causing injury and driving without the appropriate licence.
He will appear in Christchurch District Court on May 28.
