Police say there have been two separate incidents involving cars being driven into shops in Christchurch, while a third may be part of the same crime spree.Â
Staff at Cash Convertors Papanui say two offenders in a silver station wagon reversed into the store's back door around 3am this morning.
They say phones were stolen in the ram raid along with high end laptops and a blue tooth speaker.
A couple of hours later, a car crashed into a bakery on Ferry Road and the vehicle was abandoned at the scene.

The car made a three metre by three metre hole in the building, a Fire and Emergency services spokesperson said.
A plumber and an electrician had to be called to the bakery as water pipes and the electrical network were badly damaged.
There was another burglary at a hair salon in Addington that involved a silver station wagon. Photos show that the store had been ransackled, with products strewn across the floor.Â
It unknown whether the incidents are linked.
