The price of a lamb chop increased 7.7 per cent during October, to reach a new record of $17.10 per kilogram.
The cost of sausages rose 4.9 per cent, to $10.30 per kilogram, and sirloin and porterhouse steak edged down slightly from its record high.
Tomatoes are getting cheaper, down 22-percent to $6.90 per kilo.
Lettuce prices are dropping event faster, down 30-percent to $1.28 per 500 gram head of lettuce.
