Central Coast Scenic Sips is an artisan beverage trail that Central Coast visitors can follow in a day or over a weekend getaway.

The Central Coast region of New South Wales is about an hour drive north of Sydney. The trail is made up of a craft brewery, a fruit winery and a boutique distillery, located within minutes of each other.

The concept has come to fruition, collaboratively between Chris Benson of Six Strings Brewing, Nadia O’Connell of Firescreek Winery and Philip Moore of Distillery Botanica, to promote the now thriving beverage industry on the Central Coast.

When I visited Nadia, you could see the passion in her eyes when discussing her wine that had just won awards.

Her winery is set in beautiful gardens, which serve as the location for many weddings. It’s a tranquil spot and the scenery is just as stunning as the wine itself.

At all the locations you can enjoy complimentary tastings, meet the makers and learn the subtle art of brewing. And best of all, there’s no hard sell. The Central Coast is fast becoming a gourmet-lovers paradise, with an array of restaurants, cafes and bars. The ‘foodie’ scene is growing, with an appreciation for local and boutique produce.
