Rafael Nadal's playing down his drop to number three in the rankings as he gets ready to begin his Rome Masters campaign this week. Following his surprise quarterfinal defeat in Madrid, Nadal's traded places with Madrid Masters winner Roger Federer in the rankings. But the Spaniard insists he's on track for the defence of his French Open title. He says his position is not bad, arriving to Roland Garros with two or three on his back won't change anything. Meanwhile Kiwi number one Marina Erakovic opens her singles campaign in Rome tonight against 11th seeded German Sabine Lisicki. |
