A couple of 42-year-olds have won the men's and women's titles at the Rotorua marathon.
Phil Costley has won men's race, 15 years after first winning the event, while Liza Hunter-Galvan has won the women's race in two hours and 46 minutes.
Costley's won his third title in a time of two hours, 28 minutes and 25 seconds, having fought off a determined challenge from Blair McWhirter over the last ten kilometres. Kenyan Kip Kemei has won the Rotorua half marathon in a time of one hour, six minutes and 31 seconds. Stephen Lett has finished second, ahead of Jonny McKee. Rebecca Forlong has won the women's half.
