Brown dismisses podium chances

| Other Sport News | Saturday March 3 2012 11:39

Cameron Brown's dismissing his chances of adding an eleventh Ironman New Zealand title to his collection.

A half ironman will be held tomorrow in Taupo after today's full event fell victim to the 'weatherbomb'.

Brown says he's not expecting to be on the podium.

He says it's not going to suit him, which is disappointing as his title hopes have gone out the door.

Cameron Brown says he's now viewing it as preparation for the Ironman Asia Pacific Championships in Melbourne in three weeks.
