Julian Dean making remarkable recovery

By: Andy Rowe | Other Sport News | Thursday April 26 2012 5:52

Kiwi cyclist Julian Dean's Olympic dream is back on.

Dean has made a remarkable recovery from a broken leg suffered during a crash on the Tour of Catalunya last month.

He says his progress has been rapid and he's hoping to return to the road in the next two weeks and return to racing in June.

Julian Dean says he'll definitely be ready for the Olympics, it's just a question of whether he'll be fit enough.

Dean says he's also an outside chance to ride the Tour de France.
