Tottenham's Champions League hopes take big hit

By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Football News | Sunday April 22 2012 7:40

Tottenham's chances of Champions League football have suffered a huge hit, falling to battlers QPR in the English Premier League.

The loss leaves Spurs three points outside the top four while QPR has effectively saved itself from demotion, moving them three points clear of the drop.

Newcastle's 3-0 win over Stoke City puts them in the top four while there have also been wins for Fulham - 2-1 over Wigan - and struggling Blackburn who've beaten Norwich City 2-0.

Arsenal and Chelsea have finished 0-0 at the Emirates while Aston Villa and Sunderland and Bolton and Swansea have also finished in a stalemate.
