The Warriors have avenged their round five loss to the Roosters with a 30-26 victory at Mount Smart Stadium.
The lead changed hands six times throughout the match, as both sides struggled to hold onto consistent momentum.
A brace to youngsters Konrad Hurrell and Shaun Johnson nudged the visitors in front, with Manu Vatuvei putting the result beyond doubt with around ten to play.
It's come at a price however, with Jerome Ropati reported to be out for the NRL season with a dislocated knee cap.
The Warriors have improved their season record to five wins and five losses, which takes them temporarily into eighth place on the competition ladder.
