Matai to miss two games after early plea

By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Rugby League News | Tuesday May 29 2012 14:14

Manly centre Steve Matai has taken an early guilty plea on his grade four careless high tackle charge and will miss his side's next two NRL games.

Matai was charged after knocking out Penrith's Danny Galea with a swinging arm in their 22-4 defeat by the Panthers.

He'll miss Friday's game against the Dragons and next week's encounter with the top-of-the-table Storm.
