Warriors triumph over Broncos at home

By: Elliott Smith | Latest Rugby League News | Saturday May 5 2012 21:23

A ten minute burst that netted three tries late in the first half has propelled the Warriors to a 30-20 NRL win over the Broncos at Mount Smart Stadium.

The home side trailed 10-6 approaching the half hour mark before Shaun Johnson, Elijah Taylor and Jacob Lillyman crossed to take a 24-10 halftime lead.

The Broncos closed to within eight points in the second spell through a Ben Te'o try before Feleti Mateo sealed the win with a try with six minutes left for the Warriors.
