Chch group hopes for more info from EQC

| Latest Christchurch News | Thursday August 16 2012 11:18

An action group in Canterbury is hoping to glean more detailed information from EQC this afternoon, over their plans to help the most vulnerable.

The Wider Earthquake Community Action Network will be meeting with representatives from the Earthquake Commission at one o'clock.

Group spokesman Reverend Mike Coleman says words won't be enough today.

"We want to see a detailed plan of how they're going to prioritise the most damaged homes in the city so they're getting their concerns addressed, particularly the vulnerable, the elderly folk."

Mike Coleman says today's meeting is the first opportunity he's had to sit down with EQC chief executive Ian Simpson.
