Investigation into stolen Healthcare NZ documents

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Christchurch News | Friday July 20 2012 9:11

Healthcare New Zealand is investigating how confidential client documents ended up on a suburban street in Christchurch.

The records were discovered by a member of the public, after they and a number of other items were stolen from a staff member's car.

The documents have since been returned.

Healthcare New Zealand is the country's largest provider of community-based health and disability support.

Spokesman Scott Arrol doesn't believe the information has been compromised, but nevertheless, it's crucial that clients involved are informed.
