One of Christchurch's main one-way streets will reopen fully today, for the first time since the February 2011 quake.
To mark the opening of the remaining stretch of Madras Street, there'll be a short bike race.
CERA chief Roger Sutton, Mayor Bob Parker, and CERA's infrastructure chief Richard MacGeorge will cycle from Latimer Square to the Tuam Street corner, before declaring the road open this afternoon.
