Man injured after hit and run

By: Bruce Russell | Latest Auckland News | Saturday April 28 2012 19:47

Part of Glenfield Road on Auckland's North Shore has been closed as police deal with the scene of a hit and run incident that has left a male pedestrian with serious injuries.

Police say information from witnesses is supplying them with leads to find the vehicle and driver responsible.

The road is closed between Coronation Road and Roberts Road.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area for the rest of tonight.
