Auckland stables caught in fire

By: Natasha Burling | Latest Auckland News | Friday July 20 2012 6:47

Stables have been gutted by fire in Auckland.

The Fire Service got two calls alerting them to the fire at a farm in Pukekohe at 3:30am.

Shift manager Scott Osmond says the fire was well alight when fire crews got there so two more fire trucks were sent.

He says no horses were harmed.

"I can only guess there was either none in there or the owners got them out before the fire took control."

There was no one inside at the time of the fire.
