Senior politicans pay their respects

Senior politicians will be paying their respects around the country.

Prime Minister John Key and Labour leader David Shearer have both attend the Dawn Service at Auckland War Memorial this morning.

Mr Key is now travelling to Wellington for the national Anzac Day service.
