Shopping in the palm of your hand

Countdown has launched a free iPhone app which enables people to do their grocery shopping in the palm of their hand.

The free app offers a digital shopping list with barcode scanning capability, prices, and recipes.

Countdown marketing manager Bridget Lamont says the app will provide a practical and easy way for Kiwis to do their shopping.

Other useful functions include a link to Countdown's rewards programme and access to the latest Countdown mailer.
