Rough weather ahead

By: Tim Dower | New Zealand News | Sunday April 29 2012 6:26

It looks like we're in for a couple of days of rough weather.

The lower half of the North Island and parts of the South are in line for gale force winds and heavy rains.

MetService has put out a warning for Wellington, Wairarapa and eastern parts of the South Island.

It says there could also be a substantial amount of rain in Fiordland and Westland, and about the headwaters of the Otago and Canterbury lakes.
