The Public Service Association believes the Government proposal to offer free long-term contraception to beneficiaries will raise serious issues for Work and Income case managers. State-funded contraception will be made available to female beneficiaries and their daughters. PSA National Secretary Brenda Pilott says many case workers feel it to be a medical issue and they don't feel confident about raising the issue with clients.
