Feminist group wants to sit down with DB

By: Natasha Burling | New Zealand News | Monday May 7 2012 10:29

Auckland Feminist Action is inviting DB to sit down and have a beer with them, and learn how to make an ad without knocking women.

It campaigned against a Tui ad it deemed sexist which has now been pulled from TV.

Now after the company's latest effort, the group has told Tui it needs to try harder.

The group objects to males being cast as the lead characters, and females merely a distraction and the target of the joke.

It wants Tui to stop laughing at women, and start laughing with them.
