A warning for Coke drinkers

A warning for people drinking litres and litres of Coca Cola a day.

Blenheim woman Paulette Wyatt has revealed she used to drink 18 litres of coke a day.

It follows a recent inquest into the death of Natasha Harris which heard her family blame her seven litres of coke a day habit for her death in 2010.

Ms Wyatt has a clear message for anyone who's drinking excessive amounts of coke.

"Go and get help and get off it. I mean it rots your stomach, it rots your teeth, it can give you a heart attack, it can do all sorts of stuff to you."

Paulette Wyatt says she managed to kick her habit 15 years ago after she started to get heart palpitations.
