Police continue investigation into woman's murder

By: Tyler Adams | Latest Crime News | Friday May 11 2012 17:30

Nelson police are asking for the public's help as they continue their investigation into the murder of a 39-year-old woman last night.

She was found in her home in Richmond home by a family member at around 6.30pm after she failed to show up for work.

Detective Inspector Geoff Jago says at this stage he can only say the woman was fatally assaulted.

He says they want to hear from anyone who was in the Salisbury road area last night.
