By: Annabel Reid | Business News | Wednesday August 1 2012 11:22

Fonterra has announced that director Colin Armer has resigned, effective immediately.

Mr Armer has been on the board for six years.

Fonterra chairman Sir Henry van der Heyden says Mr Armer has made a significant contribution to the progress of the company.

He says they're disappointed by the news, but respect Colin Armer's decision.
