Business confidence has taken another small step forward. The National Bank's released its business outlook for April showing 36 percent of businesses are expecting better times in the year ahead. Chief economist Cameron Bagrie says the retail sector has been struggling for the last few years, but is picking up, and starting to show strong growth. Mr Bagrie says it's only a month's worth of data, but things are moving in the right direction. Photo: NZ Herald |
