Harold Fry has retired and is living a beige existence co-existing with his wife. When he receives a letter from an old colleague, telling him she’s dying, he writes back immediately.
When he misses the mailman, he resolves to walk to the next village where there’s a post office - and he just keeps walking, away from his lonely loveless life and towards Queenie, his old friend. Along the way he discovers the kindness of strangers, the fickle nature of instant fame and ultimately how to live again before it’s too late.
Quirky, charming and you’ll either love it or hate it.
