Labour Leader Andrew Little has responded to National's new immigration tightening.

Mr Little said he will stop tens of thousands of migrants if he becomes Prime Minister.

"We've got to reduce that 70,000 number and it's got to be immigration that meets the genuine shortage of skills that we have, not just the open slather policy we've got right now."
