A freak occurrence has cost Super League team Wigan Warriors a certain try while also causing injuries to two of their players. First centre Anthony Gelling was injured when his hamstring went with the tryline in sight and daylight in front of him. Gelling had the sense to pass the ball onto teammate John Bateman.
