Rob Mokaraka was in the news in 2009 when he was shot by a policeman after a suicidal depressive episode. He survived and is now a respected actor and playwright who has been touring a one-man show called Shot Bro: Confessions of a Depressed Bullet – which is witty, funny, dark, and above all spreads the message that there is a way out of the darkness.
