David Christian is more than just a Professor of Modern History at Macquarie University in Australia.

He is also co-founder of The Big History Project with Bill Gates, which has built a free online syllabus taught in schools all over the world.

His TED talk entitled ‘The History of our World in 18 Minutes’ has been viewed over eight million times.

And he now has a book. Origin Story – A History of Everything covers literally everything from the Big Bang 13.8 billion years ago to the present day and into the future.

He joined Kerre McIvor to talk about the book and his career.
