Happy Valley: S2 premieres on Lightbox this week
This deceptively-named, award-winning cop drama takes place in a bleak Yorkshire town with an unconventional female detective as its heroine. She’s a battle-scarred, strong-willed grandmother in her 40s who is tragically as embroiled in the criminal world in her personal life as she is professionally. PAUL STENHOUSE: Technology
Instagram's been hacked
Earlier this week, entertainer Selena Gomez's Instagram account got hacked. Old photos of ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber were posted on her account.
It may or may not be related, but this week IG has confirmed a bug in their code has exposed people's phone numbers and email addresses. As we talked about last week these are both key pieces of an online identity.
They won't say how many accounts were effected, but did confirm no passwords have been taken.Â
However, it does mean they can still make their way in.. The best way to keep your account secure is using two factor authentication.
Â
What is Two Factor Authentication?
It's having two pieces of private information to access your account.
Think about your EFTPOS card at the ATM. You need to physically have your card AND your PIN to get your money.
You can do this online with a password and a unique code. This id usually sent as an SMS or generated by an app.
Google, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Dropbox all offer it.. you should absolutely take some time this weekend to activate it on your account.

RUUD KLEINPASTE: Gardening
Controlling Sucking Bugs
The hardest plant pests to control are the scale insects, mealybugs and such sucking bugs
Reason is: they are more-or-less water proof, so any water-based insecticides would run off them like water off a duck’s back. They also have a habit of hiding in nooks and crannies
Â
Control:
Oil sprays - stuff like Conqueror Oil, mixed in water. The oil will creep under the cap and destroy the Mealy-cover
If you add an insecticide it will drag the stuff onto their bodies even quicker
Â
But there comes the crucial part: repeat sprays!
Eggs are not killed by the oil and insecticides, so you’ll need to spray again to get the vulnerable young scales and mealybugs before they settle and take over
Â
Recipe: Three oil sprays -Â about a month apart.

ANDREW DICKENS: Music
Fifth Harmony's self titled album - Andrew's verdict: 6 out of 10
A hit and miss affair. Barely over 30 minutes with many of the songs sounding similar to last year’s work. There are flashes of something entrancing on a few of the tracks such as He Like That and Angel, produced by Skrillex, that excite. Fifth harmony are not dead yet, but they’re not necessarily alive either.Â
