What started as a basic prototype at Fieldays, has quickly lead to one Kiwi company going international with its product.

UBCO Limited first turned up to the Mystery Creek event in 2014, to get feedback on a concept for an electric motorbike for farms.

Four years on, the bike can now be found in international markets including Australia and the US.

CEO Timothy Allan told Mike Hosking it's been great to see the acceptance and brand recognition grow each year.

"To get out to this year and people are genuinely looking at replacing vehicles they have on the farm like ATVs with these vehicles now juts due to the very low running cost and low maintenance."
