Up to 400 people could have been inside a 24-storey building, that a fire has ripped through in London.
Twelve people are confirmed dead, but police are certain that number is going to rise.
Around 80 people have been injured and taken to hospital.
New York Times correspondent Stephen Castle told Mike Hosking police don't know how many people were inside the 120 apartments at the time of the fire.
"
They have in fact appealed to people who are missing relatives or missing friends to get in touch, so they can try and establish who was there and who wasn't and then account for them.
Stephen Castle says one resident he spoke to several hours ago was still waiting to hear from her brother.
