Australian professor Ian Frazer was one of the 'inventors' of the world's first cancer vaccine. He developed and patented the first technology behind the revolutionary vaccine.
He was named Australian of the Year in 2006, and has received more than 20 awards for his scientific work.
Frazer is now in New Zealand, to give talks and seminars to academics and students.
