The Yellow Pages have been an information institution for decades, but there is a growing push for the classic phone book to be scrapped.
A social media campaign is urging those who have no need for the bulky book to opt out online.
Mels Barton from the Tree Council told Chris Lynch that they are an environmental waste Â
"It's a waste, isn't it? If you are going to get this thing made and delivered to your home and then your just going to throw it in the bin or recycle it, [your] chopping down trees for something we don't need."
She said they should not get rid of the phone book entirely for those who don't use the internet.
You can opt out here.
