Motorists are being warned there will be no quick fix to rising prices at the pump.
Energy Minister Megan Woods will today release the findings of a fuel market study ordered by her predecessor Judith Collins.
The release comes as the AA warns petrol prices are at a three-year high and profit margins are well above average.
Megan Woods told Mike Hosking she plans to get the Commerce Commission involved, but it could take a while for anything to change.
"This isn't going to be a quick fix, this is addressing a really important question and that's [...] is the market working, is it a fully competitive market."Â
